Arched plate within a molded frame carved with scrolling flowers and foliage,

surmounted by a cartouche depicting Chinoiserie figures conveying a female in a sedan chair

followed by hounds, flanked by Ho-Ho birds and acanthus leaf sprays, surmounted by a stylized

scallop-shell cresting, each corner carved with acanthus leaf scrolls and strap work within

a reeded ribbon-tied border.
